Casa Chips & Trio
Warm tostadas with salsa roja, tomatillo verde, and tableside guacamole.
Casarica is a modern family kitchen serving handmade tortillas, sizzling fajitas, slow-braised meats, and bright salsas — the kind of Mexican table Texas gathers around.
Casarica Family Mexican began as Sunday cooking for cousins and neighbors. Recipes traveled north with the family — nixtamal masa, slow carnitas, smoky salsa roja — and found a home in San Antonio.
We still press tortillas to order, simmer beans the long way, and treat every table like it belongs to someone we know. Modern rooms, light wood, and open kitchens. Old flavors, generous portions.
We built a modern dining room so the food could stay traditional — pressed masa, open flame, and recipes that do not hurry.
“The fajitas arrived loud and perfect. We brought three generations and still had room. This is our new Sunday place.”
“House margaritas, warm chips, and enchiladas that taste like someone’s kitchen — not a chain. Light, clean room too.”
“Came for tacos, stayed for the carnitas. Staff treated our kids like cousins. We’ll be back this week.”
Walk-ins are welcome. Parties of six or more, save a seat.
